Goal: You will work in teams of three or four to create a simple (3-4 slides) Power Point presentation that promotes Shead High School.
Step one: Form groups of 3 or 4, and assign roles.
Roles:
Navigator - Microsoft PowerPoint Expert - This person learn how to create a basic slide show using Microsoft PowerPoint. They will later become the “Navigator.”
Drivers - Shead High Experts/ Designers: these group members will decide what content will be included in the slideshow, and how the content will look.
Step two - You will leave your home group, and meet in new “expert” groups, based on your assigned role. You will work together in that new group.
Step three - You will rejoin as a home group, and work together to create your product. At this point assume these roles:
Navigator: The Navigator will guide the other participants through the creation of the slideshow by verbal means only. The Navigator is not allowed to touch the keyboard.
Driver: The driver will “drive” the computer, running the applications and inputing information.
Backseat Driver: The other person (or two) in the group will act as the backseat driver(s), assisting the driver with the content of the slides.
